About Sabrin
Sabrin is a Registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist, having obtained a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto with a specialization in Mental Health. Her clinical practice is rooted in a client-centred approach as she believes that individuals are the experts when it comes to their lives. She believes that the therapy process is not linear but rather multifaceted and multidimensional. For this reason, Sabrin focuses on establishing a strong therapeutic alliance and creating a space where one can learn, unlearn, inspire and aspire.
Sabrin has experience working with individuals across the lifespan, including children, youth, young adults, and adults. She utilizes a range of evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT).
Sabrin recognizes that life experiences can alter an individual's understanding of themself and lead to a sense of uncertainty. Rather than viewing this as a setback, she frames it as an ideal opportunity to support individuals who seek healing and are ready to make impactful changes in their lives. She employs a combination of evidence-based therapeutic methods to draw from the strength of her clients and empower them to establish a sense of identity that is more resilient, self-aware, and compassionate.
Areas of Practice
Therapeutic Approach
Sabrin's practice is rooted in a client-centred philosophy — she believes that each person brings their own wisdom, strengths, and capacity for change. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method, she draws on a range of evidence-based modalities to meet each client exactly where they are.
Her therapeutic toolkit includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) — woven together thoughtfully to address each client's unique needs, goals, and lived experience across the lifespan, from children and youth through young adults and adults.
Whether working through emotional dysregulation, relational patterns, identity concerns, or life transitions, Sabrin creates a warm and collaborative space where healing, growth, and meaningful change become possible.
